Married With Clickers: Episode 124 - The (Feminine) Cowboy Way

This is a very special episode for us. Cruel Summer 2013 gets off to a terrific start as we were honoured to do a team-up with Emily and Christine of the Feminine Critique Podcast. We are big fans of both ladies and their show, on which they discuss a wide variety of movies with the perfect mix of insight and humour. It is like hanging our with smart, funny friends. Kat and I can be found on their show this week discussing Bad Girls from 1994. On our show, we stayed in 1994 to chat about The Cowboy Way starring Woody Harrelson and Kiefer Sutherland. We try our best to make sense of this strange film that seems to convey the message that the best way to defeat human trafficking is through rope tricks and line dancing. The audio is a bit all over the place (let's all blame the gremlins at Skype, shall we?) but it's all audible and if you have a fraction of the fun listening to it as we did recording, you'll be in great shape. Oooops, we almost forgot to mention that we've included a half hour of Pretty Little Liars chat on here. We're all big fans, and hopefully our enthusiasm will convince you to give this guilty little pleasure a try.

Married With Clickers: Episode 104 - Mobsters

This week, we take a look at that gangland classic Mobsters from 1991. Go sleep with the fishes The Godfather. Fuggedaboutit Goodfellas. The  pipes are calling Miller's Crossing. Now, we finally get a real, insider's look at the mob world. Ok, we may have hit our head and are feeling a bit confused. Anyway, we talk about this loopy movie, along with Looper, House of Bamboo, I Wake Up Screaming and Kiss of Death. A good week, all in all.

Married With Clickers: Episode 101 - Our Top 10 Film Discoveries of the Year

It is time for our 2nd annual review of the top 10 older films we saw for the first time. We watched a wide array of films in 2012, and our lists prove it. Once again, we've stolen the  idea from our good friend Rupert of the Rupert Pupkin Speaks blog. If you listen to our show regularly, there won't be too many surprises, but our picks do range from the sublime to the ridiculous. There are some weird audio glitches over the course of the first 20 minutes of the show (nothing major - just some small gaps) - apologies in advance.

We'd love to hear from you, so drop us a line at 206-338-0793 or marriedwithclickers@gmail.com and make sure to stop by rupertpupkinspeaks.blogspot.com/
