We step outside our regular format this week, to review the films we saw at this year's Toronto International Film Festival. We begin our chat with the French film Twiggy, a intimate portrait of a pregnant 19 year old. We follow that up with a bold and visually stunning adaptation of Wuthering Heights. We cap it all off with some Killer Joe, a black comedy from William Friedkin that pulls no punches. Actually, quite a few people get punched, and punched hard. We'd love to hear your thoughts, so email us at marriedwithclickers@gmail.com or leave us a voicemail at 206-338-0793 |
