Summer is here, and we’ve hardly had a moment to sit down together to watch a movie. We both love to read, though, and thought it would be fun to sit down and discuss some of the books we’ve read over the past few months. This may even become a semi-regular feature here at MWC. We discuss Fletch Won, Loving Frank, The Films of John Huston, A Study in Scarlet, The Hunger Games, The Help, A Pale View of the Hills, Room and Lucky Wander Boy. We also respond to some terrific feedback. If you want to discuss any of the books we’ve covered or want to recommend something that you’ve recently enjoyed, please drop us a line at marriedwithclickers@gmail.com or 206-338-0793. |

For this week’s show, we decided to cover the Citizen Kane of Beach Volleyball Thrillers Starring 90210 Alumni: Impact Point. This film is filled with the 3 Bs: Beaches, Bikinis and Brian Austin Green. Mr. Megan Fox stars as a sexy… wait, we’ve already said too much. Needless to say, David Silver won’t be taking home the gold medal in sportsmanship. Our dishwasher’s notification system even makes a guest appearance. We recorded this one in rush, as Kat took the kids to the cottage while Scott had to slave away in the city (i.e. eat cereal for dinner), in order to have an episode in hand. That’s a runabout way of saying that there’s no feedback this time around. That doesn’t mean we don’t love it, so write us at marriedwithclickers@gmail.com or leave us a voicemail 206-338-0793 |

It’s been nearly a decade since Danny Boyle’s influential horror movie was all the rage (get it?). Does it still do the trick or are we suffering from zombie/infected burnout? Will Cillian Murphy kill or be killed? This episode was nearly lost due to an Audacity crash, but it was revived, zombie-style, with help from the Samurai of the GGTMC. Many thanks to the Lord of Louisville. There’s not much in the way of recent viewings, but Scott provides some brief thoughts on Revolver (1973) and there’s some general Star Wars talk. We loved this week’s voicemails, so please keep the feedback coming to marriedwithclickers@gmail.com or 206-338-0793. |
