This week, we take a look at Sidney Lumet's 1971 heist film The Anderson Tapes starring Sean Connery, Martin Balsam and Christopher Walken. We discuss all of the elements that are required for a good heist film. Does this one measure up? Tune in to find out. We also give our quick thoughts on The Muppets, Magic Mike, The Island (1980), The Formula, Rock of Ages and Storm Warning (1951). Our 100th episode is nearing and we're trying to figure out what to do to celebrate. We'd love to hear from you at 206-338-0793 or marriedwithclickers@gmail.com. |

Kat and I were about to head our separate ways (short, independent trips - not marital disaster), but before doing so we decided to piece together a quick show on an old favourite: Grease. We grew up humming the tunes to this musical, but has it worn out its welcome or does it still manage to charm the hot pants off us? Tune in to find out. It has been a busy time in the Clickers household, so if this ep seems a bit rushed and we seem a bit distracted, you will have to forgive us. There are worse things we could do. We haven't heard from you in a while (or ever) so drop us a line at 206-338-0793 or marriedwithclickers@gmail.com |

Gentlemen (and Ladies), start your engines as we accelerate through the corners this week with a look at John Frankenheimer's 1966 Cinerama sensory experience known as Grand Prix. Sure, we've got James Garner, Yves Montand and Toshiro Mifune but, let's admit it, we're here for the cars. Does it capture pole position or is it a literal and figurative car wreck? Tune in to find out. We also chat about Peggy Sue Got Married, My Son My Son What Have Ye Done and Gun Crazy. We'd love to hear from you so don't be shy - call 206-338-0793 or write to marriedwithclickers@gmail.com |
