We get all romantic this week, with Kat's pick of Franco Zeffirelli's adaptation of Romeo and Juliet from 1968. Does a rose by any other name truly smell as sweet? In other words, is the movie any good? We also chat about Horrible Bosses and Captain America: The First Avenger. Yup, we try try to keep it versatile here at MWC. We would love to hear from you at marriedwithclickers@gmail.com or 206-338-0793. |

It's Scott's choice this week, so he took the show back out west with 1966's The Professionals. If you have not heard of this film, you are in for a treat as it features a great script and an amazing cast which includes Lee Marvin, Jack Palance and Woody Strode. We also chat about The Crow, Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, the Coen Brothers' True Grit and the Grace Kelly Exhibit at the Bell Light Box here at TIFF HQ. We'd love to hear from you, so get in touch with us at 206-338-0793 or marriedwithclickers@gmail.com |

The holidays are just around the corner, so why not join us for a chat about an unbelievably depressing film set in fetid prison cells in Northern Ireland? All kidding aside, with all of the buzz surrounding Michael Fassbender these days, it seemed like the perfect time to check out Hunger from 2008. We share our thoughts on The Polar Express and Bad Santa (no, we didn't watch them as a double bill). We'd love to hear from you, so drop us a line at marriedwithclickers@gmail.com or 206-338-0793 |

This week, we return to the world of film noir (or is it noir light? Film Gris?) with a review of 1948's The Big Clock starring Charles Laughton and Ray Milland. Have the passing been harsh on this film, or can it still entertain? Who really needs a $600,000 clock? Did Ray Milland really want to go on vacation with his family? Is that the most disgusting moustache in cinema history? We also tackle two recent watches: Source Code (2011) and Class (1983) and discuss a very special screening for our 6 Year Old's birthday party. Feedback keeps our clock ticking, so please get in touch with a 206-338-0793 or marriedwithclickers@gmail.com |
