Married With Clickers: Episode 32 - Swimfan

The days are getting shorter, the nights are cooler and the temperature of the lake is downright heart-stopping. It has become apparent that summer is nearly over. This week, we're recorded a mid-vacation show from the shores of Ahmic Lake and feature a review of Scott's final Cruel Summer selection, 2002's Swimfan. Did it take our breath away or did we need to hold our noses before taking the plunge? We also discuss the first handful of episodes of Season 1 of The Tudors and provide a highly anticipated Bachelor Pad 2 update. Feedback is always welcome, so please write us at marriedwithclickers@gmail.com or leave us a voicemail 206-338-0793

Married With Clickers: Episode 31- Death Wish

This week, we hopped into the Clickers family car (it's a souped up DeLorean) and headed back to 1974. We've returned with a review of Death Wish starring Charles Bronson. Kat had never seen it and it had been years, if not decades, for Scott. Does it live up to its reputation? Does Bronson still have the touch? Was that Corky St. Clair? To keep our street cred low, we also watched Bride Wars (2009), proving that Netflix giveth and Netflix taketh away. Feedback is always welcome, so please write us at marriedwithclickers@gmail.com or leave us a voicemail 206-338-0793

Married With Clickers: Episode 30 - La Belle et la Bête

We class things up this week with a review of a highly regarded classic; Jean Cocteau’s La Belle et La Bête from 1946. Does its beauty hold up after 65 years, or is it downright beastly? On a less classy note, we also discuss the premiere of Bachelor Pad II, as we cannot deny the siren song of this guilty pleasure. We also saw a movie in one of those places with plush seats and popcorn. We both loved Super 8, but you’ll need to listen to find out why. Actually, we’ll tell you now: it’s just really, really neat. A feedback free week kept the show short but had us in tears, so please write us at marriedwithclickers@gmail.com or leave us a voicemail 206-338-0793

Married With Clickers: Episode 29 - The Outsiders

This week, we sit down to discuss a film that is very familiar to just about every child of the 80s, The Outsiders. In fact, we took in the version released in 2005 as The Outsiders - The Complete Novel. Scott had a few bachelor nights in the city, so he bores Kat with his thoughts on  X-Men: First Class, Cave of Forgotten Dreams and The Tree of Life. With sadness, we also note the passing of Elwy Yost, a name familiar to anyone in Ontario and a man responsible for entertaining and educating generations of film fans. Feedback is always appreciated, so please write us at marriedwithclickers@gmail.com or leave us a voicemail 206-338-0793
